Carol Jenkins Neil founded Hope Adult Day Services, Inc., Jacksonville Beach, Florida in July 2005 and currently serves as the agency’s president and Chief Executive Officer. Under the direction of Mrs. Neil, Hope Adult Day Services, Inc has focused on providing quality dementia- specific care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and related disorders, and support for the caregivers.
Hope Adult Day Services is operated with the Best Friend’s approach model of care. This model of care has an emphasis on maintaining dignity and integrity for those affected by dementia.
Mrs. Neil has over 10 years of experience in the health care field and has worked in numerous areas in nursing with a multidisciplinary team. She has a Master’s Degree in Nursing and an Associate Degree in Broadcast Journalism. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner and Care Manager with the Florida Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners. She is a member of the Florida Nurses Association, Florida Adult Day Care Association, Northeast Chapter of Alzheimer’s Association, Alzheimer’s Foundation of America and the National Family Caregivers Association.
Mrs. Neil is called on regularly to speak to community and professional organizations about Alzheimer’s disease and care giving. She takes this opportunity to challenge caregivers to provide the highest quality of care, and to support family members by providing tips on daily routine schedules, and mental stimulation activities.
Our goal is to established more dementia -specific centers and family consultant care offices throughout our service area. We provide compassionate, humane and specialized care in order for the patients to remain at home and families to remain in tact.
